Scholarships

As a non-profit organization Platinum Performing Arts sets aside a budgeted amount each year to use for scholarships. These scholarships allow students in low-income families and students with disabilities to enroll in our performing arts classes, camps, and performance opportunities at a reduced cost. To receive scholarship funds, a student must apply and qualify for the scholarship for a given season or session. Scholarship fund recipients are selected on a first-come first-serve basis. Once our budgeted amount of scholarship funds is used, we pause all scholarship applications until the start of a new season or year. Scholarship funds are made possible by generous donors, as well as the revenue brought in from classes.

Platinum Performing Arts is proud and honored to share that the Summer 2025 & Fall 2025 Special Needs Scholarships have been funded by the Doreen D. Marshall Fund for Youth.

Financial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students in low-income families, as defined by the California Department Housing and Community. The goal of this scholarship is to reduce the financial barrier between low-income students and high quality performing arts experiences. The scholarship provides 50-95% of the enrollment fee for one class of the student's choice per season or session.
