Train like a Broadway performer with Platinum’s musical theatre training program. Level 1 focuses on building the basic skills needed for musical theatre. Each class will include a full 45-minute jazz dance class where students learn fundamentals such as jazz squares, grapevines, and three step turns. Students then participate in improvisation games and group singing lessons where the main goal is to help students feel comfortable becoming different characters and singing in group settings.

Train like a Broadway performer with Platinum’s musical theatre training program. Level 2 is for students who have had at least one year of T1 or have other prior experience in musical theatre. Each class includes a jazz dance class that focuses on turns, leaps, and more dynamic stage choreography to develop strong ensemble dancers. After jazz, students do a beginning tap dance class that focuses on the basic tap dance steps used in musical theatre. The remainder of class time is used for acting and singing lessons, where scripts and songs are used to support gaining confidence with performing solo and in small groups, as well as adding character to performance.

Make-Your-Own Mini Musical

Learn how to make a mini musical from start to finish in this hands on learning experience! With a limit of 10 students per class, Make-Your-Own Mini Musical allows for every student to be a part of the script writing, directing, production, and performance process. Every season is unique as kids are guided through writing an original mini musical, designing props and costumes, directing, and performing the show in our Mini Theatre room for an audience! The performance is on December 16, during class time. Two audience members per student can attend the performance. There is a one time Costume/Prop Fee of $30, in addition to monthly tuition, that is due on Oct. 1 to help offset costs of costumes and prop materials, which the students use to create their show.
All Abilities Musical Theatre

Dance, sing, and act in this class where students come together and share musical theatre! With an emphasis on social skill and confidence building, All Abilities classes are specifically designed for students with disabilities to thrive. An additional instructor will be at every class for added in-class support, and choreography and content will be adapted to suit each student’s needs. In this beginning level class, performers are guided through jazz dance techniques and steps, as well as improv games, acting exercises, and singing practice. Little Stars Mini Musical: Believe

It’s all the fun of a musical theatre production in a miniature format designed just for our Pre-K/K aged students! With a limit of 10 students per class, Mini Musical allows for every student to shine in a 15-minute musical revue with a Polar Express theme. The mini show is performed with costumes and a set in our in-studio Mini Theatre. With low-pressure auditions and introductory theatre skills built into each rehearsal, students will have a blast singing, dancing, acting, and performing- all in one class! The performance is on December 17, during class time. Two audience members per student can attend the performance. There is a one time Costume/Prop Fee of $30, in addition to monthly tuition, that is due on Feb. 1 to help offset costs of costumes, props, and set pieces for the show. *Please note, students do not keep the costumes/props*

We love dancing so much, we couldn’t pick just one style! Join us for a beginning and intermediate friendly adult class that rotates dance styles each month. Every class will include strength and flexibility, along with style specific skill practice. With a welcoming environment, process-oriented approach, and tons of fun choreo, this class will keep you on your toes! September: Tap w/ Christy October: Ballet w/ Lexa November: Modern w/ Christy December: Rockettes Precision Dance w/ Lexa Please wear whatever you are most comfortable dancing in, with awareness that form fitting fitness attire is often the safest and least restrictive. Dance shoes are recommended, but you don’t have to buy the shoes for every style (ie: a pair of ballet shoes can be worn for jazz classes, too, and vice versa!) Tap shoes are highly recommended if you plan to participate in the tap month.
Dance the Dream Parade Rehearsal

This class is for students who have purchased and are participating in Dance the Dream- a performance opportunity at Disneyland on November 21, 2026. Students enrolled in this class must also be registered for Dance the Dream at the link below. Participation in this rehearsal class is mandatory in order to perform at the parade. Students can not miss more than 2 classes. Email performplatinum@gmail.com for more information about Dance the Dream. This rehearsal class does not follow typical class tuition rates.
