What is Mini Musical?
Mini Musical is a weekly class where students learn a short, themed musical and perform it at the end of the season for a small audience in Platinum's Mini Theatre room. It's all the fun of a musical theatre production- just in a mini format!
Process Oriented
We want children to get to learn about musical theatre while having fun! Our low-pressure environment and 10 student max per class helps ensure that every child has a positive experience and gets individualized attention.
Well-Rounded Learning
We know that musical theatre is about more than musical theatre skills. While we learn singing, dancing, acting and performing, our students are also practicing social-emotional awareness, teamwork, public speaking, gross motor skills, literacy, and so much more!
Performance Experience
There's no better way to learn about musical theatre than to perform! Mini Musicals make it approachable to join a production without the fuss of a large-scale commitment. This setting is perfect for beginners and students who crave more stage time.

*In addition to monthly tuition, Mini Musicals have a one-time $30 costume/prop fee due in October. This fee helps us purchase sets, costumes, props, decorations,
and concessions for the performance day. Please note, students do not keep these costumes/props.
Students who only wish to participate in the Mini Musical performance can un-enroll after April 24. Students who wish to join Platinum's end-of-the-year Spring Showcase must stay enrolled and attend classes until May 29.
